Shipping charges are calculated and displayed in the “checkout” procedure. You will first need to set up an account to access the “checkout” procedure. Deliveries within Australia are sent by Australia Post Parcel Post, whereas deliveries to all other countries are sent by Airmail.


Estimated Shipping Times


The estimated delivery times in the "checkout" procedure are Australia Post estimates for the actual delivery time only. Please allow an additional two days (approximately) for your payment to be processed and your order dispatched. Most Australian orders will be received within 5 to 7 working days.


If you require a faster delivery than these standard options, then please contact us and we can assist with making arrangements for shipping via your preferred carrier. No goods will be despatched until payment has been received in full.


Payment Terms


Contact must be made within 3 days & payment is to be made within 7 days after receiving an invoice. We reserve the right to cancel your order otherwise.

An invoice will be emailed to you as soon as possible after your order has been placed. Your invoice will include details for Direct Deposit. While my preferred method of payment is via Direct Deposit, We also accept PayPal and Postal Money Orders. We ask that payment is made within 7 days. If alternative arrangements have not been agreed upon between Ribbonista and the buyer, Items will be re-listed. Your order will be posted as soon as payment has been cleared.

To save on precious resources we send invoices by email only.

Please consider your purchase carefully. While your money can be refunded for paid orders, a $5 fee will apply (this covers our time and banking fees). After payment has been made, if you change your mind an exchange for another item or a store credit will be offered. Your order can be cancelled without this fee before payment has been made. After your order has been posted, returns will not be accepted due to a change of mind. Ribbonista has the right to refuse or cancel any order if we think (or know) that something shonky is going down. For example, if we think that there is fraudulent activity, or if payment is not received within seven working days of order placement.

Returns Policy

In the unlikely event that you may receive goods that are damaged, faulty or unsatisfactory, you must advise us immediately. Ribbonista will then issue you a Return Authorisation, and will give you instructions on where to return the item.

Ribbonista does not pay for the cost of postage and delivery of the goods being returned. Ribbonista, upon confirmation of receipt of your returned goods, with an accompanying Return Authorisation, can:

* send you replacement goods, if they are available, at our expense, or

* give you equivalent credit at the Ribbonista online store, or

* give you a refund

Lay-by Terms

Initial 20% deposit required on receipt of invoice.
Balance to be paid out within 4 weeks of invoice date.

If lay-by is not paid out in full within the allowed 4 weeks, RIBBONISTA reserves the right to withhold the initial 20% deposit. No goods will be exchanged for this deposit.

Our Products

The bows are all constructed using grosgrain, satin &/or organza ribbon and all ends are professionally sealed to prevent fraying. Our products are rigourously tested - on our own children and willing participants of the Ribbonista testing program, which includes our local family day care program and unbiased public testing.

We only sell products that have been tried & tested to ensure that we are making you products that will genuinely stand up to the physical environment that kids live in! If our products do not meet our own standards, and a number haven't, then we simply do not offer them for sale. As a personal standards sticklers, we will accept nothing less than quality items for sale.

Customer Service:

As a consumers ourselves we know how we like to be treated. Too often we have had terrible service & it's just not good enough!

At Ribbonista, we strive to answer your queries, either by phone or email as soon as possible.

We try very hard to get your orders out within 7 days from the time your order is received. Sometimes this is not possible though, & we will inform you either by email or phone. We will contact you when your order is received if there is going to be a delay.
Your satisfaction with both the product & service is paramount to me; therefore your feedback is much appreciated. We can’t fix it, if we don’t know.
